This is the second part of an intensive American English course geared to the interests and needs of adult and young adults students of English.
Departures, the first book of the course, is suitable for beginners and false beginners. It provides comprehensive coverage of the basic structures and vocabulary of American English. The book, which features communicative activities, lively natural language, and humorous everyday conversations, gives students a practical command of simple spoken English.
Departure part B consists of the last 40 units, each providing enough material for a 50-minutes class. Each unit is clearly laid out on a separate page and is attractively illustrated with drawings and photographs. Part A covers the first half of Departure (Units 1-40).
