New Trends is the new edition of Trends series for post-secondary Bachillerato students. Like its predecessor, New Trends is a five-level, semester-based coursed, in the line with the R.I.E.M.S. reform, the CEFR, and the Competency Framework. New Trends retains all the great features of the original series: clear didactic sequencing, inductive and deductive approaches to the new language, integrated workbook pages, and authentic task-based production, but has been redesigned based on feedback from teachers and academic coordinators. The result is a course that blends traditional teaching techniques with the pedagogical and technological demands of modern teaching, while at the same time offering teachers both far greater curricular flexibility and more in-depth classroom support.
