O2 is the new edition of Oxygen series for Bachillerato. Like its predecessor, O2 is a four-level, semester-based course, in line with the RIEMS reform, the CEFR, and the Competency Framework, but has been brought up-to-date to incorporate the 2011 DGB program, as well as an increased competency focus. O2 retains all the great features of the original series - clear didactic sequencing, inductive and deductive approaches to new language, integrated workbook pages, and authentic task-based production, but has been redesigned based on feedback from teachers and academic coordinators. The result is a course that blends traditional teaching techniques with the pedagogical and technological demands of modern teaching, while at the same time offering teachers far greater curricular flexibility and more in-depth classroom support.
