Macmillan Science is a six-level Primary Science course designed to meet the needs of international learners. The course bridges the gap between mainstream curriculum learning and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) or English-medium learning. Each level promotes a modern pupil-centred approach to science learning with clearly structured lessons and carefully graded activities. The course package for each level includes a Pupil´s Book, Workbook and Teacher´s Guide. Each Pupil´s Book is packaged with a CD-ROM to support learning both in class and at home. The colourful and engaging activities on the CD-ROM include experiments in which outcomes can be observed and conclusions drawn. There are also a large variety of on-screen practice exercises. Each Teacher´s Guide includes background information, teaching notes and support for extension activities.
