End of Year Exams Adaptable and convenient evaluation This CD accompanies the American Inside Out course. It has been designed as a new tool to help you use, shape and customize evaluation materials to suit your own particular teaching needs and those of your school and students. All the tests on the CD are saved as Microsoft Word files for you to print and use, or edit and adapt. It covers all five levels of American Inside Out. Tests at each level cover basic language skills plus grammar and vocabulary. Unit Tests unit-by-unit tests. Bimester Tests one test for every two months Semester Exams one exam covering each six-month period End of Year Exam an exam covering the complete course On the CD you will also find Answer Keys for all tests and Tapescripts for the Listening sections of each test. The Listening sections re-exploit listenings from each American Inside Out Student?s Book. There are also two general Placement Tests on the CD to help you assess the appropriate place for your students on the American Inside Out course.
Using the CD Copy the tests to your hard drive and keep the CD as an original. Then choose the tests that best fit your evaluation needs, adapting them if necessary?for example, adding/deleting items, incorporating your school?s logo, or personalizing material for your students?to create a suite of tests tailored to your syllabus.
